The Showcase will take place at the home of the 2022 RCA Showcase reigning Champion Racecourse, Aintree, on Thursday 23rd November.
Paul Swain, Head of Raceday Experience & Communications at the RCA, commented: “This list represents the best of British racecourses over the past 12 months and demonstrates their commitment to providing a fantastic experience for participants and racegoers alike.
“I am thrilled to share details of these excellent initiatives.
“There is an abundance of best practice that should be replicated across the sport and the RCA will ensure this is front and centre of our raceday experience programme in 2024.
“My thanks to our partners for committing their time and expertise to the event, and we look forward to hosting alongside the Aintree Racecourse team in November.”
The Racing Foundation supports projects focusing on environmental awareness and sustainability to increase understanding and cultivate an industry response.
The winner of the 2023 Racing Foundation Green Award will be eligible for a fast-track funding application route to consider a grant of up to £20,000.
Tansy Challis, Chief Executive of the Racing Foundation, said: “The Racing Foundation Green Award will allow the industry to learn more about racecourse-led sustainable projects delivered throughout 2023 and highlight some of the brilliant work of racecourses to make British racing environmentally sustainable.”
From July-September, all British racecourses were invited to submit entries to the Showcase Awards across eight categories including the Racing Foundation Green award to reflect the diverse operation of a racecourse.
In total the RCA received 67 racecourse entries in total plus almost 5,000 votes from the racegoing public.
